Invest In Yourself

As a Leader

Explore is designed for students who are starting their leadership journey. It provides opportunities to discover your own leadership style, learn valuable techniques for working with groups, practice effective communication skills, and more. By participating in two 8-week programs offered during the Fall and Spring semesters, students can earn a Leadership Certificate from Student Involvement.

Leadership Lunch & Learns are one-hour discussions held throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. Each workshop includes a free meal and the chance to hear from outside experts on topics that apply to leadership. Lunch & Learns are open to all Auburn students.

Emerge offers numerous engagement opportunities for students and staff alike! During these workshops, attendees can expect to learn about leadership ideas and concepts from a menu of existing topics or a special topic by request. Come share new ideas, develop initiatives, and learn more about your team through a Leadership Workshop. Request one at aub.ie/leadershipworkshops.

In partnership with EBSCO, the Leadership Library serves as a dedicated section of curated books that can support students all across the university in further studying and developing various aspects of leadership. With over 500 titles to choose from, everyone is bound to find something they’ll enjoy! To find these materials, search the AU library catalog: https://catalog.lib.auburn.edu/vufind/ with “Emerging Leaders Collection” in quotation marks.
