The University Program Council is a student-led programming board that hosts free events on campus. UPC works to provide a positive and engaging atmosphere in which students can meet new people, build relationships and enjoy their time at Auburn.

UNIVERSITY PROGRAM COUNCIL (UPC)

University Program Council’s mission is to enrich each student’s Auburn experience by providing inclusive and engaging programs that foster community and a positive campus culture. UPC’s vision is to promote inclusion and diversity through campus programming; to develop members who are well-equipped for the professional workplace. The mission and vision is carried out by individuals who are comprised of six committees and an executive board. UPC is a student-led programming board that creates a variety of experiences (that educate, empower and serve) for Auburn students across campus.

The First 56 | Coordinated by UPC

For many students, the habits formed in the first 56 days of the fall semester set the tone for the rest of the year. The First 56 is an initiative that promotes student engagement, healthy decision-making, and academic achievement.

How do I find upcoming events?

AUinvolve and Instagram are the best place to stay up to date on all of our upcoming events! 

Do I have to pay to attend events? Do they cost money?

All UPC events are FREE to attend for Auburn Students.

Do I have to RSVP?

Most UPC events do not require an early reservation, however, on occasion UPC does have a limited attendance. Visit the event on AUinvolve and check the description to see if an event requires an RSVP.

How can I become a member? What is required of a member?

There are four (4) different leadership opportunities withing UPC! Executive Board (President and 6 Vice Presidents), Directors (1 Director per committee), Assistant Directors (3-5 Assistant Directors per committee), and Committee Members (5 – 15 per committee). How can other Auburn University organizations partner with UPC or Tiger Nights?

Student Activity Organizations (SAOs) and Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) interested in partnering with UPC to host an event should e-mail upc@auburn.edu. If your organization or campus department are interested in hosting a late-night event under the Tiger Nights initiative (alcohol-alternative events that occur on campus after 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday or Saturday), please fill out our online form!
