                STUDENT LEADER

                NAME: Katherine Neil

                HOMETOWN: Auburn, AL

POSITION: Assistant Station Manager, Eagle eye TV

FAVORITE INVOLVEMENT MEMORY:One of my favorite memories of involvement was spring of my freshman year. There was bad weather on campus, and all of Eagle Eye’s staff had been working for hours reporting the weather conditions, shelters, and the condition of the university. We were tired, but knew it was our role to continue to serve both students and community members, proving the most complete knowledge possible for the sake of safety. During a break between the bad weather, we walked outside and ran into Tim Cook. We were then able to interview him on an iPhone, fittingly. This taught me longevity, a skill I will always remember.

WHY TO GET INVOLVED: Involvement is special as it is a learning lab which cultivates both hands on experience, as well as camaraderie between students. The people you will meet are passionate individuals who will push you, spurring you on to greatness wherever your endeavors lead. Plus, you may meet some of your best friends!
